Welcome to Black Iconic T-Shirts Black Iconic T-Shirts is the brain trust and passion of artist Greg Thornton from Seattle, Washington. It is Greg's dream to provide art pieces of unique black iconic figures in a functional art form of a t-shirt so that all types of art lovers can enjoy his images. On the back of each t-shirt, Greg includes a street type motif "Hello My Name Is" tag that gives information about each individual.

The information is a glimpse into what the person was about and is intended to entice people to learn more, read more, and educate themselves more about the accomplishments and lives of these great Black icons. Greg is focused on Black iconic figures because he is a Black artist and has observed over his lifetime that the contributions of Black iconic figures have not always been brought to the forefront. In addition, with the changes in the world and the recent election of a bi-racial president in the United States, Greg was even further encouraged to show pride in who and what he is by developing this company and promoting Black art and history across the world.
